Dance Instructors
Gigi Walker-Franklin, Artistic Director for UNI Music
Studios, has worked with many renowned organizations such as The Lisa Lopes Foundation, The Passion Professionals, DeKalb School of the Arts, Miss Black Illinois, Carnival Cruise Lines and Black Ensemble Theatre as a choreographer and dance instructor. She won critical acclaim for her work in "A Streetcar Named Desire", "Great Women of Gospel" and The Sammy Davis Jr. Story" while with the Black Ensemble Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. While working at Ben Verene School of the Arts she choreographed and assisted with the directing of "Good Vibes" and worked with the Teen Travel Troupe preparing students ages 8-17 for performance benefit concerts.
Gigi is a play write, director and choreographer. She has patented an exercise program, fusing Caribbean, Latin and Belly dance techniques. Her corporate clients include Georgia Pacific, BellSouth and Bank of America.
